SSH head command

Using SSH head command to view the first 10 rows of a text file

head myTextFile.txt

Using head to view the first 100 lines using SSH

head -100 myTextFile.txt

You can use head and tail to view the exact lines of your file.

Using head to view lines 50-60 from a file that’s 100 lines:

tail -50 myTextFile.txt | head -10
