Linux reboot command

Reboot is one of the commands in Linux that you will have to be careful with. In this tutorial, we will show you how to reboot your Linux machine – Dedicated Server or VPS with the Linux Reboot Command.

Reboot your machine gracefully

reboot

Reboot forcefully, this is more dangerous to use

reboot -f

Reboot with power off, this will shut down the machine instead of rebooting

reboot -p
